INSTRUCTIONS
1. Print P.1 Ice Cream Scoops using a color printer and white cardstock (thicker) paper. If your printer does not print on cardstock, print on regular paper and then glue it to cardstock paper so the scoops are durable. Keep the size of the print as “default” or “actual size” to get slightly bigger scoops. Also print P.2 practice spots on regular printer paper.
2. Cut out the ice cream scoops and cone.
3. Cut out 2 strips of cardboard about 20" x 2 ¼”. If the cardboard is just slightly bigger than the width of the top of the cone, it’s a good size.
4. Wrap each of the 2 strips of cardboard in a fun wrapping paper. Then tape the short ends together at the top so it stands up like a tower. To better stabilize it, you can add another small strip of cardboard to the front leg. You can also tape a ribbon to the inside bottom leg of each side to prevent the tower from slipping open. Next, glue the cone to the bottom of the front leg of the tower.
5. With a glue gun, glue each of 7 ice cream scoops to a left-facing clothesline clip. Then glue each of the final 6 scoops to a rightward facing clip. This will balance the clip weight so thetower will remain stable. Before glueing, test where to put the scoop on the clip to be sure itwill be centered on the ice cream cone once you clip it to the tower.
6. Scoop away a sweet practice!
